Free short case

Where offered, you can complete one single-question sample viva without signing in or buying a subscription. The sample feedback is available without payment. Starting the sample does not create a subscription or automatic charge. Online assessment requires internet access and your permission for AI processing.

The free sample is limited to the published case, with limited retries and service-wide safeguards. It supports typed or spoken answers, reviewable clinical-term corrections and optional on-device camera coaching; full subscription practice adds the case library, adaptive follow-up and natural AI examiner voices. Anonymous eligibility is linked to the installation and cannot establish one allowance per person. Deleting local sample data does not reset the allowance.

App licence

Educational purpose

The app offers independent surgical viva practice with simulated examiners, adaptive questions and educational feedback. It is not an official JCIE examination, is not endorsed by JCIE or the Royal Colleges, and does not award a qualification or provide an official examination score. No examination outcome is guaranteed.

AI questions, feedback, transcription and camera observations can be incomplete or incorrect. Check clinical information against current authoritative guidance and use qualified supervision for training. The app is not intended for diagnosing or treating patients or making clinical decisions about a real person.

Use fictional, non-identifying practice material. Respect confidentiality, intellectual property and the security of the service. Do not submit identifiable patient information.

Subscriptions

The planned App Store subscription options are one month, three months and six months. The App Store purchase screen shows the current price, currency, billing period and any applicable offer before you confirm a purchase. Availability may vary by region.

Subscriptions are billed to your Apple account. They renew automatically for the selected period unless you cancel before renewal. Manage or cancel your plan through Apple’s subscription settings; follow the cancellation deadline shown by Apple. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while access continues for the remaining paid period.

Use the same Apple account to restore an eligible purchase. If account sign-in is required, also use the Curitex account associated with that purchase. Deleting the app or an app account does not cancel the subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s purchase-support service, subject to applicable terms and law.

Online AI features need an internet connection, your permission for AI processing, an eligible subscription and an available service. Usage limits may apply to protect fair access and service availability. Subscription access does not promise unlimited AI requests or uninterrupted service. Contact us if repeated problems prevent access to a paid feature.
